November Fun

If you look closely, you can see Reid and Kayla in the pile of animals and blankets. Reid set up this "camp" for Kayla and invited her into his room to play. They read a book then she got a little cranky and we had to leave the "camp".

Kayla is sporting the slippers her great-memere cloutier made for her. She is a happy girl!

Kayla got this flower hat from our friend Skip. I have been waiting for her to be big enough to wear it. It is still a bit big but too cute to not take a few pics. She is such a doll!

More Updates...

Halloween

We went to Matt and Selena's for Halloween night festivities. It was FREEZING cold so Kayla went to only one house. Reid, Jeff, and I did one street then headed back in. Too cold to fill the bucket.

Can you tell which one is Kayla and which is Reid?? It is neat to see how much they look alike in this costume. So sweet!

A Funny Conversation

Getting out of the shower;
Reid - "Mommy, what are those?"
Mommy - "They are my breasts."
Reid - "Is that where Kayla drinks?"
Mommy - "Yes. That is why God made me with them."
Reid notices his nipples and begins to pinch them.
Reid - "When I was a teeny baby, Kayla used to drink from mine too."

Ummm, maybe we need to talk.

Phase 3 of The Garage Construction...look closely and you can see Reid coming off the porch.

Family Fun Day at Pepere's work was a of of fun. The kids put on hair nets and ear plugs so they could get a tour of the Pepsi plant. They were so funny!

Even Kayla wore a hair net and ear plugs. She didn't mind at all.

Reid's favorite activity was the blow up slide. He must have climbed up and slid down a hundred times.

Reid tried out a future as a fireman and Kayla got her arm painted. She got a Pepsi symbol :)

Garage - Phase 1

We had a loan closing at the bank after school and then went to Reid's gymnastics class last night. When we came home we saw this....Garage Phase 1 has begun! So exciting


This hole is deeper than it looks here. Too bad they didn't dig out that walkway too...maybe it will "fall" into the hole soon.

And I thought the ant holes were big...We won't be jumping on the corner of the porch anytime soon.

Thankfully, Jeff and Reid were able to move my plants...the peonies wouldn't have been too happy about this.

Our most recent partial family pic...I wish I had the camera last night when Reid invited Kayla in his room to read books. I sat her on his bed next to him and they "read" his toddler bible. He made up words and she looked at the pictures. They looked SO cute!
