World Series Night

Reid visited Auntie Shannon and Uncle Kevins for game 3 of the World Series. Auntie Kristi had sent Reid a Rockies outfit to help the team. Needless to say, we don't think it helped but Reid looked very cute in it!

"I will try my best to look cute for the Rockies in my new jersey!"

"See how cute I am even when I am drooling like a hose?!?"

Reid keeps growing!

Reid is finally starting to fill in his crib. He still looks tiny in it though.

He is just such a happy baby. It is almost time for a haircut. It is actually too long now but I don't want to cut it. He is only 5.5 months old!

We went outside this weekend to take a few family pictures. It was very cold but Reid was a trooper. He likes the cool air and smiled quite nicely.

Bloggy Blog

Reid is experimenting with more and more foods. He likes rice cereal, peas, carrots, and sweet potatoes. We tried squash but are wondering if he was sensitive to it because it made his spit-up stinky. Anyway, this kid LOVES to eat!

Reid likes to show us how big he is getting. This picture really shows how tall he is now! I can't believe how fast time is passing. He stands up so well and LOVES bath time.

Reid is very tolerant of us playing with different hair-dos in the tub. This style is my favorite. What a cutie!

New Bathroom Cabinets

Jeff and I decided to replace the old medicine cabinet with something more our style and sturdy. Jeff did a WONDERFUL job creating these two matching cabinets. We have so much more space and they are nice with the new wainscoting around the tub and walls.

October Fun

Reid was too cute on Friday morning before we left for school so we had a photo shoot. He is such a happy baby. We are blessed!

A few weeks ago, we went to the Fryeburg Fair with the Churchill's. Reid took a bath at Hannah's when we got back. Hannah thought it was hilarious. She wanted to get in too.

After a nice bath, Reid and Hannah played in her crib. Reid was facinated by all the different toys and Hannah thought HE was a big, interactive toy.

Reid LOVES to eat his big boy food. I made sweet potatoes and he is a big fan of them. He prefers his food to be an oatmeal consistancy instead of the standard "runny yogurt" consistancy the books recommend. He eats very well and enjoys his high chair.

Reid Fixes our Technical Difficulties

We know it's been a while since we updated the blog. Not even Reid realized how busy we would be this fall! Our school schedule gets us up early and we're in bed not long after Reid is.

Reid is showing Daddy how to upload pictures onto the computer.
After Reid finished helping Daddy, he sat down to watch his favorite baseball team win another game and move onto the playoffs!
Mommy thinks Reid's hair is funny! If you look carefully you'll see that his hairline is the opposite of Grandpa DeJongh's.
Reid really is into the computer! He thinks it's a lot of fun to watch the pictures move through on the slideshow.

Finally...An Update

We took Reid apple picking last weekend. He had a good time as you can see. The weather was great and the apples crisp. We will have to go back so we can get some pictures of him actually awake!

Reid is borrowing his friend Matthew's Bumbo. He LOVES it! He looks so big and grown up sitting in it! What a cutie!!

Hannah put on this wig and strutted her stuff around her house. She was too funny! Later, she put on a mullet wig...I laughed so hard I was crying and couldn't breath. What a riot!

Reid's great-auntie Sheila got him so great outfits. He looks so cute in this Red Sox play suit. He is such a happy baby. We are truly blessed!

Some comments from Reid about his camping trip

We're trying to make up for a lack of posts late in the summer by doing more now. This video will give you some idea of what Reid thought about the ride home from camping.
