Jeff and I have begun making changes in the nursery now that it is all cleaned out. I had to move all my scrapbook/stamping supplies into the laundry room. Jeff made a beautiful cabinet to hold the desktop computer so we can have it downstairs. Now that it is empty, remodeling has begun!
I have been working on peeling off the old border the previous owners had put up. I used a product called DIF and once I figured out how to use it correctly, removal was a breeze.
Kevin Breton Construction Inc. came over to help us knock out the "knee walls" on either side of the window seat to make built-in shelves. We had the family over for lunch as payment. (It was baked ham!) Shannon, Nolan, Jeff and I were crew chiefs....you know, we watched Kevin.
Jeff and I had the day off today due to some WICKED snow so I finished taking off the border and Jeff boxed in the shelving and cut out space below the window seat for more storage. It is exciting to see things coming together.
