3 Weeks Old Today!

It is hard to imagine that our little Reid is already 3 weeks old! Time goes by so quickly. This morning we got up and went to school (Durham) to get things prepared for the end of the school year. I needed to get my report cards finalized. Jeff entertained Reid (when he wasn't eating) and I scurried to get things done.

Reid and I visited Great-Grampa Couture on Thursday for a little bit. Grampa is so proud of Reid! Later that evening, we went to Memere and Pepere Breton's house for dinner. Hannah and Nolan were both visiting with their families. There were grand-babies everywhere!

On Wednesday I went to Auburn to lead my Weight Watchers meeting. It was SO HARD to leave Reid behind! Jeff got Daddy time and had a visit from the DosSantos family so he had some relief. I called and called again to check in and make sure everyone was fine. My apron strings don't stretch very far.

Jeff and I have officially decided that Reid is not only a baby, but a 20 inch EATING MACHINE! He will breast feed for about 40 minutes, fall asleep then wake up to eat more in about 20 minutes. We will occassionally give him 2-4 ounces of formula to fill his belly when the booby-tap is dry. This usually gets him to sleep for a few hours (lovely) then he will wake up and want to eat, eat, eat. We are hoping that it is because he is growing. We haven't checked his weight in a while but he feels heavier.
