New Chair...Reid Sized

Jeff made Reid this adorable Morris chair. He had plans for a full sized chair and halved the measurements for Reid's. We are currently using pillows until we make the cushions. Reid is so cute sitting in it and he likes it a lot. Jeff painted it a country blue and distressed it a bit to fit in with the other decor. VERY CUTE! He is so talented! (jeff is too)


Reid had been wearing my shoes and walking around the house in them. This is one of the new games. You can also see that our rule about sitting whenever we eat has gone to the wayside a bit. He is just more active than he is hungry so we compromised to get him to eat more.



Reid has a bunch of ducks that light up when you rub the bottom of them. He got one of his blocks and said, "sit, sit, ducks lights" and sat down on the block to play with them. He then got up and got blocks for Jeff and I to "sit, sit" too. He makes us laugh every day. His newest word/concept is "thank you". He says it when we give him something, often without prompting. He also has a future in being the Wal-Mart greeter. When we are in a store, he says hi to everyone we pass by...paired with a HUGE smile. He always seems to be working the crowd. Future President maybe?
