July 27th - Kayla tries out her new cloth FuzziBunz diapers. Yes, Kayla. That diaper does make your butt look fat.
Reid feeds the horses on Grandpa Coutures farm. He loves to be with animals but was a little reluctant to pat them at first. I think we have caused him to fear the electric fence enough.
Reid and Jeff camped out in the backyard one night. They lasted until 3am. In the morning I asked Reid why he came inside. He replied, "Oh, I just wanted to check on you." I love that kid!
Kayla, happily trying to suck her thumb. She isn't really that into her pacifier but she is determined to get that thumb in her mouth. Once she figures out she can control it, I think we are going to have a thumb sucker. For now, she gets it in, but doesn't know it is her hand so she takes it back out.
Kayla and Mommy at the drive-in. We saw Cats and Dogs....we could have made a better movie with Socrates and some treats. The kids had a great time though.
Waiting for the movie to start. We made a bed in the back of the van for the kids to watch the movie. They mostly played. We love Pride's Corner Drive-In!
Reid and I went blueberry picking in Fayette at Steep Hills Farm. It was wonderful! He had a great time and we made pie and blueberry crisp a few days later. I was pretty proud of myself. I am trying to do more baking...maybe that is why my clothes still don't fit!
This is what Reid wore to do groceries one day....oh dear! Yes, those are winter boots, no shirt, a hooded sweatshirt and swim shorts. It was 85 degrees that day.
We joined up with the Churchill's while they were on vacation and went to Funtown/Splashtown. Reid LOVED the log flume ride and proved to be quite the thrill seeker.
Reid on the Froghopper. He loved it. Kayla napped under an umbrella. She liked it too.
Reid, helping himself to a glass. He got up on the counter using a stool. He is sporting his Cony Lacrosse team shirt. The students gave it to him. It is his favorite pajamas right now.
