Jeff and I spent the morning working on the house. I washed down the walls and surfaces in the spare bathroom upstairs to prep it for a coat of paint. Jeff worked on applying a coat of poly to the kitchen window box after sanding and prepping it yesterday. It looks so much better. He also stained and put poly on the door out to the mudroom.
I headed outside to plant the bushes I picked up yesterday at Lowe's. I found that we are on a layer of clay and rocks. I am hoping that all the rocks will provide for some drainage through the clay. It was hard to dig out a place for the plants.
